Gonçalo C. Ferreira is the second artist challenged by Queer Porto 2 to present a performance in malavoadora.porto as part of the festival program. The performance, entitled V, ou finalmente a casa amarela begins at 5.30pm.

About this performance, the artist wrote: “This 'play' is the performative construction of a place to which my body can belong to through a dramaturgical structure similar to a house. A house that has as a centre the act of construction itself – retrospectively and actively. Between these two poles, images, objects and texts appear. Materials that try to circumscribe the sphere of influence – who was here, how and what remains. After the confrontation, the body archives something – a transparency, a reflection, a colour. Works of art are recreated and destroyed as a cathartic process of recognizing the progression of time. A fragile piece-house-place-body that warms itself through material surroundings.”
