Day #9: Panorama presents 100 Men with the support of CheckpointLx

Queer Lisboa closes its 21st edition today, but the day still promises many surprises.

In the Panorama section, we screen the documentary 100 Men, in which director Paul Oremland sets out to meet and talk to some of the most memorable men he has met through sex. In the process, he ends up exploring four decades of changing attitudes toward homosexuality. The screening takes place at 5.15pm in Sala Manoel de Oliveira. After the screening, awareness-raising will be carried out by the CheckpointLx team, a community project run by GAT (Treatment Activists Group), which offers an anonymous, confidential and free service for rapid screening for HIV infection.

Être Cheval, by Jérôme Clément-Wiltz, screens at 5pm at Sala 3, as part of the Panorama section. The documentary about Karen, a transgender woman who trains to become a horse, is also a poetic reflection on humanity, gender, life, love and nature.
