Day #9: Queer Lisboa 21 Closing Night

For the closing night of this 21st edition of Queer Lisboa we chose Mãe Só Há Uma, directed by Brazilian filmmaker Anna Muylaert, awarded at the Berlinale in 2016, which focuses on the teenager Pierre/Felipe, who discovers that as a child he was stolen from his biological mother. He is now forced to deal with the expectations and impositions that the new biological family imposes upon him.
Before the screening, the Queer Lisboa 21 awards will be announced, namely the Best Feature Film, along with Best Actor and Best Actress; Best Documentary; Best Short Film; as well as the Best School Film of the In My Shorts Competition and the Best Film of the Queer Art Competition; and the three Audience Awards.
After the Ceremony, Absolut Vodka will offer a cocktail to our audience in Cinema foyer, and then takes place the Closing Party, which will be held from midnight at the club Titanic Sur Mer and will feature the music of Sky Deep, a filmmaker who has developed a career as a DJ and producer, dedicated to various branches of house music, and Simºne, part of the team of the collective Groove Ball. The entrance costs 5 euros (until 2.30am) and 6 euros (from 2.30am to 6am).
