Next week, Queer Lisboa will be back in the Shortcutz, this time both in Lisbon and Cascais.
Next Tuesday, January 14th, at 10 pm, Shortcutz Lisboa will be back with their short films program at Cossoul, in Príncipe Real, Lisbon. New films of the competition will be screened, as well as the Audience Award winning short film from the last edition of Queer Lisboa: We Are All Here, by Chico Santos and Rafael Melim (Brazil, 2018, 20', docu-fiction), a film full of energy, starring Rosa and the other residents of Favela da Prainha (Rio de Janeiro).
Two days later, on Thursday 16th January, this time at 9 pm and at SMUP da Parede, the Festival arrives again as a guest, this time for Shortcutz Cascais. The film to be screened at SMUP will be one of the two winners, ex aequo, of the Best Film Prize of Queer Lisboa 23' European School Shorts Competition: Dante v. Mohammed Ali, by Marc Wagenaar (Netherlands, Belgium, 2018, 28', fiction), a short film that blends a boxing match and a romantic declaration of love with great aesthetic refinement.
We look forward to meet all of you in both screenings!
