Raja Amari, born in Tunisia, has a Master’s in French Literature from the University of Tunis. She has also studied at La Fémis in France. Her award-winning debut feature Red Satin premiered at the Berlinale. Her second film Buried Secrets screened at the Venice Film Festival and MoMA.
