Tom Kalin, Gran Fury

* Tom Kalin (USA, 1962) is a filmmaker, screenwriter and producer, and a gay-rights activist. Kalin’s work focuses on the portrayal of gay sexuality both in the age of AIDS and historically.

Gran Fury was a New York-based collective of ten visual artists, designers and assorted non-artists, which grew out of ACT UP (AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power) established in early 1987.
