Talk: Dennis Cooper

This year he is invited by Queer Porto 4, Dennis Cooper, an American cult writer who recently went to the movies.
Born in 1953, Cooper grew up in Southern California. In 1985 he moved to Amsterdam, where he lived for almost three years and started his 10-year project, the George Miles Cycle, a series of interconnected books that gave birth to Closer, Frisk, Try, Guide and Period. Novels subsequent to this Cycle include titles such as My Loose Thread, The Sluts and God, Jr.
Residing for more than a decade in Paris, Cooper will perform at Queer Porto 4, along with Zac Farley, the film they have performed in Permanent Green Light, and will participate in an informal meeting for a talk with Festival viewers at Café Rivoli.
