Danny Cooper was a mailman in a remote part of the rural southern States in the late 1980's: a time and place when few, if anyone, would dare to live openly. But Danny did just that, not only was he open about his homosexuality, but also about his seropositive status. He summed it up this way: “People respect you if you respect yourself”.
