The word “lunàdigas” comes from Sardinian, and it is used for sheep that don't reproduce. Lunàdigas is about women who have chosen to be childfree: a great taboo in Italy, still in these years. The film brings out personal experiences that are unique, unforeseen emotions unfold as the women give their different reasons for choosing to be childfree. The aim of Lunàdigas is to make the reality of these socially hidden women emerge.
