Damien is a spoiled teenager, the son of a soldier and a doctor. He lives with his mother at the army barracks in southern France while his father is on a military mission in the Central African Republic. Damien shows a new and provoking side of himself in high school to avoid the bullies that tease him because of his effeminate manners. When he meets Tom, the adopted son of local farmers, the hatred between the two young men is immediate and visceral. But when Tom's mother is forced to go to the hospital, Damien's mother naturally offers to stay with Tom in her house for a short time. The tension between the two teenagers becomes increasingly palpable.
