Lucía G. Romero was born in Barcelona in 1999. Driven by an early passion for writing and storytelling, she received a full scholarship to study at ESCAC at the age of 18, where she graduated with a master's degree specializing in Directing. Themes central to her filmmaking include love, friendship, family, trauma, adolescence, and childhood—always approached from a political perspective and deeply influenced by her experiences as a young, Afro-Spanish, queer woman.
