Hao Zhou is a filmmaker from southwest China. Zhou's films center on queer and feminist themes, often exploring stories within the Asian diaspora. Their past works include a narrative feature, The Night (2014), centered on a trio of queer sex workers in China. Recently they have directed non-fiction and narrative short films including Correct Me If I'm Wrong (2025), Like What Would Sorrow Look (2024), and Wouldn't Make It Any Other Way (2024). Zhou's films have been screened at festivals including the Berlinale, Locarno, Rotterdam and others.
