*Joaquim Castro is a filmmaker, screenwriter, and film editor. In 2020 he is an Oscar candidate as editor and sound designer with the documentary Democracia em Vertigem, by Petra Costa, which was the opening film of the Sundance Film Festival, in 2019. His first feature as a director was Dominguinhos, now streaming on Apple TV, and that won the Audience Awards for Best Documentary at the Grande Prémio do Cinema Brasileiro, in 2015, having been selected for many film festivals in Brazil and around the world. He also worked in many awarded documentaries on Brazilian musicians.
**Lucas Weglinski has worked for over 20 years as a filmmaker and visual artist. He created two films alongside Tunga: Quimera (Cannes, Sundance, MoMA, MALBA), and Medula (Beaubourg Collection). He was audio-visual curator of the exhibition Ventos Fortes (with Alberto Renault and Heloisa Buarque de Holanda, in 2010). For the UN he organized several audio-visual exhibitions for Rio+20, in 2012. In 2021 he releases his first feature as a filmmaker and editor, Máquina do Desejo - 60 Anos do Teatro Oficina. He just released his second feature, A Música Natureza de Léa Freire. He directed over 12 short films, and produced another five, which were selected in important film festivals such as Cannes, Sundance, Guadalajara, and Havana.
