An intimate portrait of gay model Mickey Squires, told in his own words. After a lifetime performing on camera, one of queer pornography’s most iconic figures shares his struggles to find personal acceptance and meaningful human connections through the world of adult entertainment. Filmed on 16mm and constructed from decades of erotic archives, the documentary explores complications of life in the porn industry, the difficulties of measuring up to our curated selves, and the challenges of queer aging.

Ryan A. White is a documentary filmmaker from Big Sur, California. His films include "Big Sur Gay Porn", "Raw! Uncut! Video!", "Cruising Elsewhere" and "Mondo Banana". Other credits include co-directing "Dirt McComber: Last of the Mohicans", producing "The Organic Life," and associate producing "Pray Away" and "Out Run". He’s also a Lecturer in Film Production and Cinema Studies.

 

A.P. Pickle is an artist based in Santa Rosa, California. His film credits include "Big Sur Gay Porn", "Raw! Uncut! Video!", and "Cruising Elsewhere".
