André Vaara is a director and screenwriter born in northern Sweden. He holds a bachelor's degree in Film from HDK-Valand and a master's degree in Film Directing from Stockholm University of the Arts. In his work, André often portrays intimate stories exploring gender roles, identity, and longing. His short films have been screened at festivals and won awards. Currently, André is developing his first feature film, "Beautiful Misfits".
