One of Emma’s mothers is too busy, the other one is too far away: a presence she rejects, an absence she sublimates. Out of a trivial tension, an intimate and unsettling face-to-face confrontation suddenly arises.

Violette Delvoye studied Animation in France and Norway before finishing her studies at La Cambre, in Brussels. She made several student shorts, finishing with her graduation film, Projection on Sofa, in 2016. When she doesn't direct films, she works as a technician in 2D and stop-motion.
