The Night Flowers
Eduardo Esquivel & Omar Robles
Documentary : 85' / Queer, Gay, Trans, Community, Youth, Religion, Identity

In a small and conservative village on the shores of Mexico's largest lake, live "the night flowers", the queers of the town. Uriel, one of them, has decided to leave behind her trans identity after joining a religious group that uses “conversion therapy”, but the strong friendship among them has generated a sense of belonging that unites them in a special way. They celebrate their youth and proclaim their freedom together, a living manifesto that flourishes in their sisterhood.
