The warm-up for the 29th Queer Lisboa kicks off with its first Queer Bingo! At Casa do Comum, on 11 September, at 9pm, and hosted by the best hostess one could have imagined: actress and performance artist June João, former festival jury member. At the end of the night, gifts will rain: invitations to the festival screenings, accreditations for the festival, and merchandising of the Portuguese queer film “Two Times João Liberada”.

To wrap up, a DJ set by Man of Many, for those who love mirror balls.

The second warm-up night of the 29th Queer Lisboa takes place in partnership with Cinema no Estendal, in an open-air film screening! On 12 September, at 8pm, at Mercado Forno do Tijolo, the festival presents Queer no Estendal, a free screening of the four award-winning short films from the 2024 edition:

- getty abortions, Franzis Kabisch (Germany, Austria, 2023, 22’)
- Paradise Europe, Leandro Goddinho, Paulo Menezes (Germany, Brazil, 2023, 17’) 
- Cura Sana, Lucía G. Romero (Spain, 2024, 19’)
- Queen Size, Avril Besson (France, 2023, 19’)

At the end, around 9.30pm, director and producer Madalena Fragoso, a member of last year's festival jury, will be in control of a refreshing playlist, with a late-summer flavour.
