Claire Sivier

Claire Sivier (she/her) is a Black-British researcher, and cultural producer living in Porto. Over the last 13 years her work has been developed with artists, young people and those from marginalized communities, as well as delivering a range of festivals and cultural programmes. In 2020 Claire completed a masters degree in Art & Design for the Public Space at Belas Artes Faculty, Porto where she developed a walking art methodology exploring the lived experiences of black female diasporic artists in Porto and has since founded Caminhada de Mulheres Negras (2021). She is also a member of the InterStruct Collective.

Conceição Nogueira

Conceição Nogueira started her academic career in 1988 at the University of Minho. In 1997 she defended her PhD thesis in Social Psychology with the title “A new gaze upon gender social relations: a critical feminist perspective in social psychology”, and in 2011 she defended her Aggregation with the title “Critical Feminist Psychology. The challenges of intersectionality.” She is a Professor at the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Porto, where she is the director of the PhD Program in Human Sexuality. She is the author of several Portuguese written books (Portugal and Brazil), and of various inter(national) publications on Gender Studies, Feminisms and Sexualities.   

Laetitia Morais

Laetitia Morais was born in Paris in 1984 and lives in Porto. Artist and teacher of visual arts and cinema (EA – UCP). Her work focusses on optical and cinematographic devices, for their material and intangible qualities, but also on cultural dynamics of resistance or transition, materializing this research in film, painting, and installation. Her works have been exhibited in numerous galleries and events, and are part of several private and public collections, in Portugal and abroad. She was co-founder, in 2019, of the cultural co-op Laia and of the Torre laboratory of experimental cinema. She has been part of several international curatorial commissions in experimental film.

Marco Gabriel

Marco Gabriel is a Cultural Producer at the Cultural Unit of the Rectory of the University of Porto, since 2009. His academic path has always been focused on Culture and Heritage. He graduated in Heritage Management at the ESEP – Escola Superior de Educação do Porto, and had a post-grad in Cultural Planification and Promotion by the Universidade Portucalense. In 2018 he was involved in the creation of Casa Comum, a cultural project of the University of Porto, where he has coordinated several activities related to different artistic expressions.

Paulo Pereira

Communication Designer

Paulo Pereira, as a communication designer he has parted his professional activity between design companies, teaching in universities, and freelance work, with a special interest in publishing and the representation of information and knowledge. He is responsible for the Communication Design of the Astrophysics Centre of the University of Porto, working in the communication and promotion of scientific knowledge for the Institute of Astrophysics and Space Sciences and the Porto Planetarium - Centro Ciência Viva. He has promoted spaces of interdisciplinary gathering and artistic expressions. 

Paulo Silva

Paulo Silva graduated in Cinema - Production at the Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema, in 1985. Between 1989 and 1990 he did various works in film and television as a freelance producer. Between 1990 and 2017 he worked as a Program Treatment Producer, most specifically in dubbing children’s shows, for RTP. Also at RTP, since 2017 he works in Content Research – CPLP. In his free time, and since the 1980s, he been a fan of graphic comics and of Tolkein’s universe. 

Tiago Aires Lêdo

Tiago Aires Lêdo is a sound and new media artist, and performer. Master’s in Multimedia by FEUP and graduated in Cinema by ESAP, he collaborates since 2019 with the Matosinhos Jazz Orchestra, developing the projects L.E.M. and Flormiga. He creates and publishes solo music as Som Flores and is also a teacher of Photography and Video at the professional school EPROMAT. Since 2020, he has been also involved in various theatre and performance projects as an actor and creator.
