Léolo Victor-Pujebet is a filmmaker, photographer, and visual artist. Born in Lyon in 1996, he lives and works in Paris. After studying Film and Philosophy at Paris Diderot University, he developed a practice in which documentary, fiction, photography, and installation move within a shared continuum, attentive to the ways images survive and endure, to narratives of intimacy, and to the political fractures that run through individual lives. Alongside his own work, he has collaborated with Christophe Honoré, Romane Bohringer, Fabienne Berthaud, and Bruce LaBruce. In 2015, he co-founded HORSCHAMP with Mathieu Morel, an association that has become one of France’s leading spaces for the transmission and discussion of auteur cinema, photography, and contemporary art.
