Rafael Saar holds a master’s degree from the post-grad program in Film and Audiovisual of the Universidade Federal Fluminense, is specialized in Cultural Production by the Universidade Cândido Mendes, and graduated in Film and Video by UFF. He directed several short films, among them Depois de tudo, starring Ney Matogrosso and Nildo Parente, which won over 10 awards. His debut feature, Yorimatã, was released commercially in 2016 and awarded in several film festivals, among them the Jury and Audience Awards of In-Edit 2015.
