Born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, in 1982, Ricardo Alves Jr. is a filmmaker, screenwriter, producer and theatre play director. Graduated in Cinema from the Universidad del Cine, in Buenos Aires, his films have been shown in some of the most important film festivals in the world, such as Cannes, Berlinale, Rotterdam, Locarno, Oberhausen or Karlovy Vary.
