Saleh Kashefi (b. 1999, Tehran), also known as Filmsaaz, is an audiovisual composer in exile. They explore the friction of sharp dualities— trauma and healing, toxic masculinity and queerness, hate and compassion—shaping a language that is at once radical and imbued with youth. Filmsaaz has brought forth dozens of audiovisual works carried across international festivals such as Cannes, Berlinale, Venice, Locarno, Visions du Réel, IDFA, and FID.
