Fede is a teenage girl who lives in a traditional nun house that provides lodging to young students and travelers in Bergamo. She navigates life oscillating between her public high school and her small group of friends, though she spends her days lost in thought, polishing a secret inside of her. Her life is quietly upended with the arrival of Valentina.

Italian-American director Francesca de Fusco grew up in Oak Park, California, and Bergamo, Italy. She is currently a Willard T.C. Johnson fellow at the NYU Tisch School of the Arts where she is taking a master’s degree. Her short films have screened at festivals including Berlinale, Edinburgh International Film Festival and Palm Springs ShortFest.
