Born and educated in the Philippines, Jon Cuyson is an artist, filmmaker and educator. He began exhibiting internationally in 2004. His interdisciplinary practice investigates and interrogates ideas about labor, movement, identity and postcolonialism. He received an MFA from Columbia University in 2010 and currently lives in Manila.
