A sensory journey to the womb of the island of São Miguel, where Natália Correia, poet, writer and Portuguese deputy, was born exactly 100 years ago. The film, made in her honor, follows three women who embody her spirit through an exploration of the female body at different stages of life.

Catarina Gonçalves (Azores, 1999) is a film director and visual artist, who works in documentary, but also with installation and video art. Her work is based on the idea of personal and collective memory, related to the female body. She has a degree in Sound and Image from Escola das Artes da Universidade Católica do Porto and is doing her Master’s in Documentary Film Directing at Doc Nomads.
