Karim is a young queer science fiction director. The grief caused by his break-up with Paul prevents him from writing the screenplay for his film Nuit de Chine. On his mother's advice, he drops science fiction to write a love story. One afternoon at the cafe, he meets the hero of his film, Fouad, and falls in love.

Nicolas Medy (Paris) graduated in Music Studies in 2012. After his Master’s in History at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, he completed his Master’s in Documentary Film at Université Paris 8. In recent years, he has been working as a producer and director of films and music videos.
