Pol Merchan is an artist and filmmaker, curator at the Xposed Queer Film Festival and is a member of the Berlinale selection committee. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and a Master’s degree in Art in Context, his work explores the intersection of historiography, autobiography, fiction, and documentary. His works have been exhibited internationally at art institutions and film festivals, including the MoMA, Museo Reina Sofía, Rotterdam Film Festival, Dok Leipzig, Hot Docs and Anthology Film Archives.
