Geralda works in a kiosk by the sea in Recôncavo da Bahia. One day, she is informed that her father is in the hospital and that he can pass away at any moment. This painful waiting time forces an interaction with her three sisters. The four had not seen each other since their mother's death fifteen years ago.

Ary Rosa and Glenda Nicácio graduated in Film from Universidade Federal do Recôncavo da Bahia, and founded the independent film company Rosza Filmes in 2011. They began their career with short films and language experiments in fiction and documentary, investigating the collective process in film production.
