In a post-apocalyptic future, an intergalactic explorer lands in an abandoned museum in search of traces of his ancestors and ends up being teleported to the dance floor of Vollúpya, an LGBTQI+ nightclub that ran for twelve years in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro. Through a montage drawn from video files, photographs and audio testimonials, Vollúpya presents a unique perspective on Brazilian queer nightlife in the 1990s.
