On June 30th, the Queer Lisboa out-of-town program will screen the film “Follow the Protocol” in Faro’s Cineclube, in partnership with the new edition of LOUD FEST - art and education festival for LGBTQI+ inclusiveness in the Algarve region, organized by the aeQuum Association.

“Follow the Protocol” premiered in 2022, and is the first feature film by Fábio Leal, who also plays the main character. Chico, the hypochondriac protagonist, struggles with the prolonged isolation period during the COVID-19 pandemic. After 10 months of lockdown, and desperate for human connection, Chico goes on a series of mistrials to arrange sexual encounters under the health and safety protocols implemented to fight COVID-19.

The screening will take place at 9.30pm on the 30th of June, in the auditorium of the Instituto Português do Desporto e Juventude (IPDJ) in Faro.
